WHAT HEART OF HOPE?
“The Voice of Truth” is a 31 day journal that invites reader to pause and consider what God’ has to say about them in His Word rather than focusing all the negative and mostly untrue things that are heard from other and even more so, that one says to and about themselves. Rather than surrendering to “our own worst enemy,” as the scripture says, “We take every thought captive.” (2Corinthians 10:5)
Each day readers are give a scripture reference and a corresponding affirmation on which they are encouraged to take some to meditate on and then to interact with and apply. The journal style also provides a prompt for each to identify something for which they are grateful. In addition, prompts are provided to acknowledge and give words to their current emotional state and to process it. Finally, there is an opportunity for free journaling.
My hope is that you embark upon this adventure with an open mind and heart, and that as you realize and apply what “The Voice of Truth” your life will be transformed as you grasp the true revelation of who you are in the Lord. Then as your life is transformed by this revelation, then you can become a light that shines in the darkness impacting those around you that are struggling with these issues.
“Affirm-itude” – Personal recognition and acknowledgement of the positive attributes character and accomplishments within and the beauty and wonder of the world without, The “Affirm-itude Journal” is “An Adventure in Perspective. What that means it is a daily journey that challenges the reader to take an active role in taking a closer look at who they really are and thus recognizing and acknowledging the GOOD that resides there. The more one focuses on seeing the positive, the more we are able to see it. Likewise, the reader is challenged to make the choice to see things around them in their lives in more positive light and take on a more grateful attitude,. The hope is that this adventure once embarked upon will be continued moving forward as the reader’s perspective of themselves and the world is changed.
