Heart of Hope

A message of hope and inspiration for the hurting

NEVER Late

All of us at one time or another have been at that point of desperation where we are crying out for God to intervene. Some of you may be at that exact point as you read this. Figuratively, you need an answer by 12:00 and it’s 11:50. Yet despite our sense of anxiety and desperation, He moves on His perfect timing. I have heard it said that “God is rarely early, but He is never late.” This seems a little funny to say, but even in our anxiety, desperation and impatience, He is patient and understanding with us.

As we see in Jeremiah 29:11, His plan is for us to have a prosperous future and that disaster would come near us.

“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”

What does that have to do with Him never being late? EVERYTHING.  We can have faith that He hears and will answer out calls. In whatever circumstance we find ourselves, He will make a way out.

Finally, there are times that He hears andbl sends the response right away, but at the same there are forces of the evil one that attempt to keep the answer from getting to us. This is yet another reason as i have shared before to ask and keep on asking.  There are times that getting the answers we need require spiritual warfare. (See Daniel 10).

My friends, brothers and sisters,  we have a GOOD Heavenly Father whose love for us endless.  If we ask for a loaf of bread, He will Not, give us a stone. He cares for, feeds and clothes all the other beasts of the Earth. How much more will He care for us, the children that He has given His name.

So matter where you are what you are going through or how desperate your situation is keep asking, keep seeking and pray BELIEVING. He WILL hear and answer, not in our time, but in His and His time is always PERFECT!

‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬

[9] The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

[11] For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

‭‭Daniel‬ ‭10:12‭-‬13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

[12]  Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words. [13]  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, for I remained there with the kings of Persia.
