Dual Diagnosis –
IDD and MH
Many individuals that have been diagnosed with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability also have a co-occurring mental health condition. Sadly, many of these individuals go undiagnosed and many of those that are diagnosed do not get adequate services and supports to support both their IDD and their mental illness. This week I hope shed a little light on this issues and answer a few questions about Dual Diagnosis as it pertains to IDD and MI.

As Always, your feedback and suggestions are welcome, appreciated and encouraged.
My hope is that these “goodies” are truly something that is found to be beneficial, and not just something else to deal with in your inbox.
If I can be of any further assistance please reach out.
